Looking for a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with family, friends and fellow Farmers Union members? Come to the annual picnic! We promise great food, fellowship, information about what OFU is doing for you and activities. As a Farmers Union member you can bring your family and friends for free!
This year’s picnic will be held on Saturday, July 30 at the WR Hunt Club in Clyde, Ohio. The picnic begins at 12:30 and goes until 6 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and your appetite and enjoy the hospitality of OFU and Bob & Betty Wright, owners of WR Hunt Club and members of the Ohio Farmers Union.
If you’re interested to come earlier in the morning and shooting sporting clays, the cost is $35 for a round of 100 or $20 for a round of 50. Bring your own shotgun and ammunition, although ammunition is also available for purchase from WR Hunt Club.
If you are traveling from a far corner of Ohio and are looking for lodging in the area, the Red Roof Inn in Clyde is offering a 15% discount to travelers who mention the WR Hunt Club when they book their room. You may contact the Red Roof Inn at 419-547-6660. You might even considering making a weekend of it in Northern Ohio and visiting Cedar Point, Kelley’s Island or Put-In-Bay.
