Sen. Sherrod Brown Headlines 80th Ohio Farmers Union Convention
Two-day convention kicks off this Friday afternoon
COLUMBUS – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D), Ohio’s senior senator and member of the Senate Agriculture Committee will deliver remarks and take questions Friday, January 31 at the Ohio Farmers Union 80th Annual State Convention.
Brown was a leader in Senate Farm Bill deliberations over the past two years helping to craft the bipartisan compromise framework eventually passed by the full Senate. He will update convention goers on the Farm Bill’s status and discuss other recent events and issues of note in Washington. Brown will also take questions after his remarks.
All convention events will be held at the Columbus Airport Marriott Hotel, 1375 N. Cassady Ave., Columbus, 43219.

OFU members and delegates will also hear from other federal and state officials as well as agricultural policy experts over the two-day convention. State Rep. Denise Driehaus, D-Cincinnati, will be honored on Saturday as state Legislator of the Year.
